Ex-police trainee denies victim relationship

GoogleA former student police officer has denied misconduct in a public office over allegations he had an inappropriate relationship with a female crime victim.
Robert Veza was formerly a police constable for a neighbourhood team in Sheffield. He was in his probation period when he resigned from the force in January, South Yorkshire Police said.
The 44-year-old, of Buchanan Road, Sheffield, entered a not guilty plea at Sheffield Crown Court earlier and a trial date was set for 28 September.
South Yorkshire Police confirmed an internal misconduct investigation was also being carried out.
