Schools shut as temperatures plummet

Four schools in Buckinghamshire have shut and one in Bedfordshire, with some citing plumbing and heating issues.
It comes amid a yellow weather warning for snow and ice which is in place until 11:00 GMT.
Some schools are offering remote online learning.
In Buckinghamshire, Wooburn Green Primary School is closed due to a burst water pipe.
Marsworth Church of England Infant School said it was experiencing heating issues and was closing due to safety concerns amid the weather warning.
The Misbourne School in Great Missenden said it was continuing to do emergency works following water damage.
While Claytons Primary School in Bourne End has announced it will be shut until Thursday while its heating is repaired.
Parents have been advised to check with their child's school for updates on reopening.
In Bedfordshire, Leighton Middle School is shut due to health and safety issues with the fire alarm system, it said.
