Police said the woman from St Blazey had died in Royal Cornwall Hospital on Thursday

A woman in her 90s has died after the car she was a passenger in was involved in a crash with a lorry, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the woman had been travelling in a silver Vauxhall Astra on Cornhill Road in St Blazey when the collision with a heavy goods vehicle took place at about 16:50 GMT on 28 November.

It said the woman from St Blazey had suffered injuries in the incident and had been taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro where she had died on 18 December.

The police asked any witnesses to the collision or anyone with related dashcam footage to come forward.
