Two brothers have appeared in court over the murder of a man on Christmas Day.

Trey Johnson, 30, was found with stab wounds in Burcot Avenue, Wolverhampton, just after 03:30 GMT on 25 December and died at the scene.

Richard Beckles, 19, and Tiego Beckles, aged 20, both from Wolverhampton, appeared at the city's crown court on Monday.

The pair, who are each charged with murder, wounding with intent, and threatening someone with a bladed article in a public place, were remanded into custody to next appear at the same court on 2 March.

Richard Beckles, of Stafford Street, and Tiego Beckles, of Broadgate Way, were arrested on 7 January.
