A huge plume of smoke was seen over a Shropshire town after a fire in a small shed spread to a home.

Four fire crews were called to the house on Rock Lane, in Ludlow, at 10:42 BST on Monday.

The fire service said the blaze had spread from the shed to a conservatory and living room in the home, and crews used jets to put it out.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said a man and a woman were assessed on scene but had no injuries and were discharged.
