It's the last few days of August and people in Somerset have been celebrating some late summer sunshine.

Here are just a handful of images taken across the county over the past week.

Starting with caravan racing - an annual fixture at the Mendip Raceway every August bank holiday, with bangers taking old tourers as far as they can around the track.

Mistakes were spotted on the packaging of Yeovil Town's new football merchandise.

The packaging on the football club's scarves read "Yeovl" without the i, and the word merchandise was misspelt without an "r".

Yeovil Town told BBC Radio Somerset: "Human error is natural; we're not robots."

Volunteers took part in a spontaneous community clean up of a town river after pictures of rubbish in the water went viral on social media.

Bridgwater resident, Ben Bishop said he was "shocked" to see the state of the River Parrett in the town, with old shopping trolleys and other debris visible in it.

More than 300 motorcyclists travelled to Somerset to complete a 70-mile circuit for charity.

Riders in the Sky was started in 2011 in memory of fellow biker and avid fundraiser Lee Baker, from Wells, who died in 2010.
