A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing, Kent Police has said.

Officers were called to Steven Close in Chatham, just after 22:30 GMT, on Thursday to reports a man had been injured.

He was treated by South East Coast Ambulance at the scene before being taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
