Costello will perform in Wolverhampton next year alongside musician Steve Nieve

Elvis Costello is returning to Wolverhampton's Civic Hall for the first time in 30 years.

The singer will perform at the venue on 25 September, 2024, alongside musician Steve Nieve.

They will tour 11 venues across the UK including Liverpool, Manchester and Cardiff.

Elvis Costello, 69, last appeared at the Civic in 1982 and 1994, performing with the backing band The Attractions.

Their 94' concert was described by the Staffordshire Sentinel as a "simple no-nonsense session of pure quality music".

The Halls, which include the Civic and Wulfrun Hall, reopened earlier this year after a £48m revamp.

Tickets for Costello's latest show go on sale on Friday at 10am via the ticket provider AXS.
