A van driver involved in a fatal collision with a motorcycle has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.

Norfolk Police said it had been called to the B1108 in Barford, near Wymondham, at 17:12 GMT on Tuesday after a crash between a white Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van and a red Honda CBR.

The road was closed while emergency services, including an ambulance and the air ambulance, attended. The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man in his 20s was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He had been released on bail until 11 June, police said.

The force has appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage.
