Man fights for life after electric scooter crash

A man is in hospital fighting for his life after he was involved in a crash on an electric scooter, police have said.

The 34-year-old was left with life-threatening injuries after he crashed the vehicle at about 15:00 GMT on Saturday in Davey Drive, Brighton.

An investigation has been launched and Sussex Police officers are carrying out house to house inquiries.

The force is appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
