M5 reopens following serious two-vehicle crash

Traffic is now moving freely along the northbound carriageway between J11 and J9

A section of the M5 has reopened following a serious two-vehicle crash in Gloucestershire.

The northbound carriageway was closed between J11 for the Golden Valley Interchange and J9 for Tewkesbury since about 12:30 BST on Wednesday.

According to National Highways, the motorway reopened at about 05:00 BST. There are currently no delays on approach.

Gloucestershire Constabulary urged anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch.
