A man has been arrested after another man died in a crash between a motorbike and a tractor in Shropshire on Friday.

The crash happened at about 13:00 BST at the junction of Horsebridge Road and The Grove in Minsterley, the ambulance service said.

The motorcyclist, who was in his 70s, died at the scene. The driver of the tractor did not require medical treatment, paramedics said.

West Mercia Police said a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The force is appealing for witnesses of the crash or those who may have dashcam footage of the moments beforehand.
