Caravan and barn damaged in suspected arson
BBCA caravan and a barn were damaged by a fire thought to be caused by a group of young people with aerosol cans, police said.
Officers were called to a field near Strikes Garden Centre in Northallerton at about 15:30 GMT on Sunday.
North Yorkshire Police launched an arson investigation, saying: "This behaviour created a significant risk to the public and has resulted in considerable damage."
The force said "several" bicycles and scooters had been taken to Northallerton Police Station after they were left at the scene, which could be collected by owners with a parent of guardian present.
Police appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
