Traffic building up on the A14 near Ipswich after Tuesday's collision

A three-car crash caused major tailbacks on the A14 near Ipswich, police warned.

One lane was closed on the eastbound carriageway between junction 54 at Sproughton and junction 55 at the Copdock Interchange.

The collision happened during the morning rush-hour on Tuesday. There were no injuries, Suffolk Police added.

Drivers faced delays of more than 30 minutes and five miles of congestion, National Highways said.
