A family has paid tribute to "a passionate biker" who died in a collision between his motorbike and a car.

Luke Davis, 32, died in the incident involving his black Triumph motorbike and a silver Peugeot 308 on the B3092 north of Gillingham, Dorset, at about 14:30 GMT on Friday.

His family said their "much loved son, brother, friend and uncle" would be remembered for his "fierce adherence to fairness, truth and most of all, fun".

"He was a passionate biker, and he was full of adventure," the tribute adds.

"He loved his family and friends, and was loyal to a fault.

"He was a wonderful addition to everyone's life, and he enjoyed every moment."

The family said they would all miss him "with every breath".

The investigation into the collision is continuing and Dorset Police has asked any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
