A 51-year-old pedestrian has died after she was seriously injured in a collision involving two cars in North Yorkshire last month.

Tricia Davies, nee Curtin, was struck on Holme Lane in Sutton-in-Craven shortly before 15:15 GMT on 27 January, close to the junction with Bridge Road.

North Yorkshire Police said the collision involved a white Toyota Prius and a black BMW X5.

The drivers of both vehicles were uninjured and were assisting police with their investigation, officers said.

A force spokesperson urged anyone who witnessed the collision or had dashcam footage to get in touch.
