Teens charged over £11,000 phone thefts at Apple

Three teenagers have been charged in connection with the theft of £11,490 worth of mobile phones from an Apple shop.

Cambridgeshire Police said it was alerted by a member of the public on Sunday after 11 phones were stolen from the store in the Grand Arcade in Cambridge.

Officers stopped a white BMW on the M11 later and arrested a 17-year-old boy from Enfield, London, who was charged with theft from a shop and breaching a criminal behaviour order. He was due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Two 16-year-old boys from London were also arrested and charged with theft from a shop and were due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates' Court on 4 March.
