Sakura Therapy Centre has been temporarily closed following a police investigation

Three people have been arrested after a closure order was made at a suspected brothel.

Wiltshire Police arrested two women on suspicion of keeping a brothel after entering Sakura Therapy Centre on Bank Street in Melksham on 18 December.

A man was also arrested on suspicion of using/paying for sexual services from a prostitute. All three have been bailed while enquiries continue.

The force said the arrests were part of an ongoing investigation into prostitution and money laundering and a partial closure order, which restricts access to the property, has since been issued.

"Any person found at the premises, who is not named as having a legitimate reason for being present, will be arrested," police said.
