Police have arrested a man suspected of having a firearm following a road rage incident between two drivers.

Officers were called to Mossey Green Way in Ketley Bank, Telford, at about 18:20 GMT on Tuesday.

Following a search of the area, a 26-year-old man was located at an address in Lawley and held on suspicion of being in possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, West Mercia Police said.

Insp Marc Whild said: "We understand incidents of this nature can cause concern to the public, but we want to reassure the community that we responded quickly and a man is now in custody assisting us with our inquiries."
