Tribute to 'deeply loved' girl, 7, found in pond
Little Rainbows/PA WireTributes have been paid to a "beautiful, deeply loved" girl who died after being found in a pond at a golf course in Doncaster.
Nyla May Bradshaw was reported missing in Skellow just before 10:00 BST on Monday.
South Yorkshire Police said that following extensive searches, which included the use of drones and a police aircraft, she was located in a pond on Owston Hall golf course and died at the scene.
Paying tribute, Little Rainbows Doncaster Children's Autism Charity said in a post on social media: "Nyla brought so much light to those around her."
In a statement, the charity said: "She was autistic and non-verbal, yet her presence spoke volumes.
"She touched more lives than words could ever express. A beautiful little girl who loved Christmas especially.
"Our entire community is heartbroken, and our thoughts are firmly with her family as they face this unimaginable loss."
The charity also shared an online fundraising page to help her family with funeral costs.
South Yorkshire Police said the girl's family was being supported by officers.
A force spokesperson said: "The thoughts of everybody at South Yorkshire Police are with them at this devastating time."
