Body found after attempted murder of two people in Bangor

Police investigating the attempted murder of two people in Bangor on 24 December have located the body of a man.

Formal identification is yet to take place.

The incident happened after a man, armed with a knife and a hammer, entered a house on Chippendale Avenue at about 15:30 GMT on Wednesday.

A man aged in his 20s and a woman aged in her 50s both received serious injuries and have since been discharged following hospital treatment.
