To celebrate 10 years of BBC Music Introducing, it's setting up a grant to help new artists.

The Future Fund will give rising talent access to grant money and exclusive insights into the music industry.

BBC Music Introducing is teaming up with charity PRS Foundation, which raises money for talent development across all genres.

This year the grant will be awarded to Yizzy, a 17-year-old grime artist from south London.

Yizzy was listed on NME's 100 Essential Artists this year and also performed at Glastonbury after winning a place through the festival's Emerging Talent competition.

He is receiving support from Radio 1 and 1Xtra DJs Phil Taggart, MistaJam, Logan Sama and Sian Anderson.

Part of their mentoring involves improving Yizzy's confidence and songwriting skills.

His previous releases, This is Life and Steppin, have received critical acclaim from the likes of Mass Appeal, The Guardian, Dummy, Complex and many more.

He will also get the chance to perform at BBC Music Introducing Live in front of 5,000 people and alongside the likes of George Ezra, Slaves and Blossoms.

Yizzy is also set to release a new song, Do You Wanna, in October.
