"I was speaking to my mates who I came to V festival with the other day," said Brad.

"They were saying it's mad how we went and now you are playing it - but it's a good feeling."

It's been quite the summer for the Vamps who saw their third album Night & Day go to number one on the Official Chart.

"It was so cool to get the number one that was really important for us," explains drummer Tristan Evans.

He says because they've spent a lot of time abroad, it still hasn't really sunk in for them.

"It was a very surreal moment, credit to all the fans and we are very proud of that album."

Not only did they get that number one spot, they also toppled Ed Sheeran too.

"It was pretty cool to knock him off but he was back there the next week," laughs Brad.

The album has been divided into two parts, The Night Edition which is already out and the Day Edition which they say they are working on now and hope to have out next summer.

But before all that, they are filling in for Cel Spellman on BBC Radio 1 on Sunday 20 August.

They will be broadcasting from V Festival, running around grabbing interviews with the likes Of Ella Eyre and James Arthur.

It looks like James McVey will be doing most of the interviewing.

"My interview technique is ask questions but aggressively," he says.

"He usually attacks their weak points," laughs Tristan.
