Tiga admits DJ set 'didn't kill it' - and everyone loves his honesty
Getty ImagesCanadian DJ Tiga posted an unusually honest self-assessment after a gig in Italy.
"I just didn't kill it tonight," he told fans after the event in Rome.
The post has since been liked thousands of times, with fellow DJs praising his honesty.
"There are nights when they [the audience] know something you don't," he said. "Sorry Rome. I love you but I just didn't kill it tonight."
"Here's something nobody talks about," begins the post.
"How about when you DON'T kill it... when you are actually wrong with the party.
"Your programming is lazy, your decisions are ill-informed... Your records sound slow. You can't maintain connection."
He describes the feeling that the "magic is gone".
"And that's ok - makes it all the more magical when it reappears in another city, on another night."
He's been called "honest" and "legendary" by the likes of Eats Everything, Disclosure, Felix Da Housecat and Eric Prydz.
