Jersey firefighters tackle blaze at old planning building
BBCFirefighters are at the scene of an incident at the former planning building at South Hill.
The Jersey Fire and Rescue Service said 18 firefighters, four fire engines, one incident command vehicle and the fire duty manager vehicle were dealing with the fire.
The blaze is on the first floor of the building.
South Hill has been cordoned off and the road is closed at both ends.
Members of the public have been asked to avoid the area.
