Baboons and boats - look back at 1970s Longleat
Cine film from the early years of Wiltshire safari attraction Longleat has been found on its 60th anniversary.
The film shows the estate five years after it first opened its doors for the first drive-through Safari outside of Africa in April 1966.
Godfrey Chivers, 75, from Surrey, discovered the footage which shows people picnicking by giraffes, lions and the boat cruises.
He shared it with his grand-daughter Davina, who is the current events manager at Longleat.
