Baby giraffe born at safari park

A baby Northern giraffe has been born at West Midlands Safari Park at Bewdley in Worcestershire, following a 15-month long pregnancy for mum Arusha.

The calf took its wobbly first steps within 40 minutes of the birth.

All animals born at the park this year will have names beginning with the letter O.

Park staff have yet to determine the sex of the giraffe.
