'Murder' probe arrest after pedestrian crash death

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a pedestrian died following a collision with a car outside a supermarket.

Gwent Police said it happened outside Sainsbury's in Pontllanfraith, Caerphilly county, at about 16:00 GMT on Monday.

The man died at the scene after the crash involving a Land Rover Freelander.

A man from Caerphilly has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
