Murder accused appears in court after Heathrow arrest
ReutersA 33-year-old man arrested at Heathrow Airport after a man was hit by a car in London has appeared in court charged with murder.
Met Police officers were called to reports of a crash between a car and pedestrian in Barking Road in Newham, east London, at 05:11 GMT on Sunday.
Fergany Mvuezolo, 35, was found injured at the scene and later died.
Trevelle Rowland, from Islington in north London, appeared at Thames Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Mr Mvuezolo's family have been informed of his death and are being supported by officers.
Mr Rowland, who is also known as Tresor Lukusa, did not enter a plea during the hearing and was remanded in custody.
He is next due to appear in court at the Old Bailey on 28 March.
