Leeds man charged with historical child sex offences
A 76-year-old man has been charged with 23 historical child sex abuse offences against girls in Lincolnshire.
John Bailey, 76, from Kippax, Leeds, has been charged with indecent assault on girls under the age of 14 years as part of Lincolnshire Police's Operation Redstone inquiry.
The crimes are alleged to have between committed between 1957 and 1981.
Mr Bailey has been bailed and is due to appear at Lincoln District Magistrates Court on 27 July.
Operation Redstone came after a review of past safeguarding cases by the Diocese of Lincoln.
