Murder arrest over dead body on M20 motorway

A man has been arrested after a woman's body was found on the M20 motorway.

The body of the 32-year-old woman from Kent was found on the London-bound carriageway near Ashford, just after 18:00 GMT on Tuesday, Kent Police said.

A man who handed himself into a police station on Wednesday has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Det Ch Insp Richard Vickery has appealed for motorists who had dashcam footage taken between junctions 10 and nine to come forward.
