Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a man who died following an attack in Grimsby.

Tony Richardson, 45, died in hospital after he was assaulted in Old Market Place at 16:30 GMT on Monday.

A 44-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and a 36 year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of incitement to murder.

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses and asked for help to locate a jacket connected to the incident.

Humberside Police said the jacket, described as a "dirty" light grey Lyle and Scott hooded jacket, is believed to have been discarded in the Worcester Avenue/Winchester Avenue of Grimsby.
