Two people seriously injured in Kingsteignton car and lorry crash

Two people have been seriously injured after a lorry and car crashed in Devon, police have said.

Officers were called to the A380 southbound carriageway at Kingsteignton at about 09:10 BST on Tuesday.

Police said the two injured people were travelling in the car. The northbound carriageway was closed for an air ambulance to land.

Devon and Cornwall Police said both people were taken to hospital.

The force has not released any further information.
