At the start of the new year, much of Wolston was swamped by floodwater

Residents evacuated from their homes when their village flooded are invited to attend a forum on the matter.

Many villagers in Wolston, Warwickshire, were left seeking shelter in a pub after Storm Henk brought heavy rainfall earlier this month.

A parish council meeting at the baptist chapel is set to discuss recovery and flood prevention on Tuesday.

The Environment Agency, Severn Trent, the county council's flood management and highways teams and Rugby Borough Council's chief executive will attend.

Villagers and councillors will be invited to discuss their experiences and raise any concerns they may have.
