Up to 250 people expected at education event
Danny Lawson/PADozens of people are expected to attend a conference aimed at bringing together teachers and researchers in a bid to boost children's learning.
The event at Les Beaucamps High School, in Guernsey, will have sessions focusing on challenges in schools, including ways to boost children's understanding of maths, improving literacy, and using technology to help with learning.
The day will also look at leadership, ways to build strong teams, how to support pupils, and techniques to improve teaching.
Organisers said up to 250 people were expected to attend the event on Saturday, 2 May.
Guernsey's director of education Nick Hynes said: "This researchED conference is a fantastic opportunity for our educators to engage with the latest research, share best practice and bring new ideas back into our classrooms."
He said it was a "great chance to access a huge breadth of ideas and information on your doorstep" without the expense of travelling elsewhere.
