Under the Protection of Badgers Act 1992, it is an offence to interfere with a badger sett

A member of the South Shropshire Hunt who admitted interfering with a badger sett has been fined £845.

David Conde, 61, from Condover, had pleaded guilty to the offence at a hearing at Telford Magistrates Court on 3 December.
