The Archers Tractor Run has become a popular annual event in south Leicestershire

More than 250 tractors are set to line the streets of south Leicestershire as part of an annual Christmas parade.

The brightly lit vehicles will travel from Lutterworth to Blaby and back again, passing through villages as they go.

The convoy will depart at 16:30 GMT on Sunday and travel through Cosby, Countesthorpe, and Whetstone before returning to Lutterworth at 19:30.

Organiser Ryan Archer, from Blaby, said he hoped the event would continue to grow as it entered its sixth year.

The event raised almost £50,000 for Leicestershire MS Therapy Centre and LOROS Hospice last year.

Mr Archer said: "We put this together in Covid times. It was an absolute success and we've built on it from there.

"The support has been fantastic, not only from businesses, but the communities as well.

"If we can get anything like what we raised last year, that would be fantastic."
