Woman dies in crash involving car and lorry

A 72-year-old woman has died in a crash involving a car and a lorry in Lincolnshire.

The crash happened on the A15 near Navenby at about 13:15 GMT on Tuesday.

The woman, who was driving a green Mini, suffered fatal injuries in the collision, Lincolnshire Police said.

Officers have appealed for anyone with information, or dashcam footage, to contact the force.

A stretch of the road was closed, affecting traffic between Lincoln and Sleaford, but has since reopened, a police spokesperson added.
