A man has been taken to hospital after police cordoned off a street in Edinburgh.

The 44-year-old was found injured on Drum Brae Drive on Tuesday morning.

He was taken to the city's Royal Infirmary for treatment, while officers closed the street and the surrounding area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said inquiries into the incident were ongoing.
