Man dies in crash involving motorbike and car

A man has died after the motorcycle he was riding crashed with a car.

The crash involving a BMW motorbike and a Citroen C3 happened at about 08:40 BST on Saturday on the A465 near Allensmore, Herefordshire.

The rider, in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene while the car's driver, a woman in her 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

West Mercia Police is encouraging witnesses to the crash to contact PC Foster by emailing [email protected].
