Three dead and one seriously injured in crash

Three people have died and one has been seriously injured following a crash involving two cars.

Dyfed-Powys Police was called to the A489 between Churchstoke and Lydham in Snead, Powys, at about 16:50 GMT on Thursday.

Two people travelling in a red Toyota Yaris and the driver of a grey Audi A4 were killed, while a passenger in the Toyota was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.

Police have launched an investigation and asked any witnesses to come forward.
