A18 in Doncaster reopened after police incident

Part of a major road in Doncaster has reopened after being closed early on Wednesday morning due to a police incident.

Officers said the A18 Leger Way had been shut in both directions around Heatherwood School.

Traffic news service Inrix saying the closure had stretched between Cheltenham Road and Armthorpe Road.

At around 07:50 GMT a police spokesperson said the road had "fully reopened".
