Three seriously hurt in van and taxi crash
Lancashire PoliceThree people have been seriously hurt after a taxi and a broken down van that was being pushed by two men crashed in West Lancashire.
A white Peugeot Bipper van had broken down on the A585 near Windy Harbour in Fylde and was being pushed to the side of the road when it collided with a blue Volkswagen Transporter taxi at about 18:15 GMT on Saturday, Lancashire Police said.
The van driver, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital.
A man in his 30s, who had stopped to help, and the taxi driver were also taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
A woman in her 60s, a passenger in the Bipper, suffered minor injuries.
Sgt Thomas Cooper-Malley said: "If you have dashcam or CCTV footage of the collision, or of the A585 near to Windy Harbour between 6pm and 6:20pm please do get in touch with us.
"We are also aware that there may be people who witnessed the collision that we haven't yet spoken to.
"If this is you, or if you know someone who was travelling on that road at the time, please let us know."
