Same-day booking now available for local recycling

Residents can now book same-day appointments at a recycling centre.

Since 4 March, Cheltenham Borough Council has required people to pre-book slots at Swindon Road Household Recycling Centre.

The appointments can now be booked up to an hour before arrival, and customers will be offered the closest available slot.

Gareth Edmundson from the council said: "We know that being able to book the same day is particularly useful for green waste, as activities like gardening are often weather dependent."
