Two people in hospital after crash on A9 in Caithness

Two people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the A9 in Caithness.

Emergency services were called to the Dunbeath area at about 17:00 on Thursday.

The road was closed for about four hours.

Police said two people were transferred to hospital for treatment with inquiries ongoing.
