A man has died after being hit by a HGV on the A15.

Humberside Police said a HGV was travelling on the northbound carriageway at about 09:50 GMT on Monday when it hit a pedestrian near to the Horkstow Road overhead in North Lincolnshire.

Emergency services attended but the 56-year-old died at the scene.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers and the force has asked anyone with information to get in touch.
