E-bike rider seriously hurt in bridleway collision

A man was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition after falling off an e-bike during a collision, police said.

It happened at about 07:00 GMT on the Burntfarm Ride bridleway in Goffs Oak on Friday.

Hertfordshire Police said the man, in his 40s, may have been suffering a medical episode.

Sgt Chris Whales asked any witnesses to get in touch, adding: "If you were walking in the area and may have seen a man on an e-bike this morning, please do get in touch."
