Man, 29, dies after one-vehicle crash in Bridge of Earn

A 29-year man has died after a one-vehicle crash in Perth and Kinross.

Police said the incident, which involved a Audi A4, happened on the A912 near the Craigend junction in Bridge of Earn at about 22:35 on Friday.

The driver, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers closed the road for more than eight hours to allow investigations to be carried out.

Sgt Brian McEwen said inquiries were ongoing and appealed for anyone with information, or relevant dash cam footage to contact police.
