Man charged with murder of woman at flat

A man has been charged with murdering a woman at a flat in Greater Manchester.

James Morton, 33, was arrested after a body was found on 19 January.

Morton, of Kempston Gardens in Bolton, has been remanded in custody to appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

Upon discovering the body, Greater Manchester Police said officers were trying to identify the woman, who is now known to have been 45 years old. Her identity has not been revealed.
