Investigation under way after fire at mini-market

White Hart Street in Thetford was closed while crews put out the fire in the shop

Fire crews have tackled a blaze which broke out in the back of a shop, forcing police to close the road.

Norfolk fire officers were called to a mini-market on White Hart Street in Thetford at 07:05 GMT.

Six crews took more than two hours to put out the fire and the road has since reopened.

The fire service said no-one was injured and an investigation into the cause of the blaze has begun.
